ARE YOU READY?! The 2023 wedding calendar will be opened for RiverFront reservations on Monday August 8,2022. Waitlist members will be contacted first in chronological order, and then the calendar will be opened to all inquiries.

We are sad to announce today that RiverFront Weddi

We are sad to announce today that RiverFront Weddings, operated and managed by JPC Event Group, will no longer be producing weddings as of calendar year 2023 at the Allegheny Rivertrail Park. After the debilitating fire at our kitchens and headquarters in September, the decision was made by the JPC ownership to terminate our management contract early. Extreme and costly measures were required by our team in order to provide uninterrupted services to our clients during the Fall 2021 season due to the casualty loss. The lengthy time estimate for rebuilding, and the many other hardships of the pandemic era such as food cost inflation, labor shortages, and product supply disruptions coupled with the fire loss, have made producing a quality, affordable event nearly impossible.

While we realize this is troubling and disappointing news for any client in 2023 and beyond, we have made every effort to ensure a lengthy advance notice with full catering deposit refund for those 2023 contracts currently in place. And for those 2022 clients, we will continue to produce the same quality service and culinary excellence that our reputation has been built on with no interruption.

As we reflect upon the many memories made and milestones celebrated over the past 5 years, we thank you for your patronage of our services, and for the positive support from the members of the Pittsburgh vendor community. We are also grateful for the hard work and dedication that our JPC Event Group service team, and our venue manager Caitlyn Wimer, put forth to make this an award winning Pittsburgh wedding venue.

No interruption of services will take place for those clients contracted for the 2022 wedding season, and we look forward to celebrating these special occasions! At this time, we have no information regarding the future plans of the ARP board of directors as they pertain to wedding services- but the park is holding a deposit for each 2023 contracted client and their event dates are still secure. Contact information for event services is available at the ARP website.
